If you have a condition that causes severe pain or a medical condition that is severe and other treatments have not been satisfactory, you may qualify for medical cannabis in Maryland
or another condition which is severe and for which other treatments have been ineffective. This can include Anxiety and Depression and Opioid reduction for Pain Management
Patients who suffer from chronic pain caused by diabetes, cancer, MS, HIV, and other diseases have been turning to medical marijuana as a way to treat their pain without the use of addictive pharmaceutical medications.
Register online with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission www.mmcc.maryland.gov to receive your registration number. We will be more than happy to register you in our Dunkirk, MD office (Calvert County)
Our state certified licensed Physician, registered with the MMCC, will consult with you in our Dunkirk, MD office, to gain clarity on your condition by reviewing your medical history and certifying you as a medical cannabis user
Once you are certified, you may purchase from any Maryland dispensary. Purchase up to a max of 120 grams of dried weed flower or 36 grams of processed THC product within a 30 day period. The strain and amount is left to the patients discretion.
The MMCC requires an annual evaluation to recertify!

You must stay within the state of Maryland with cannabis purchased regardless of other state laws that you are visiting
Patients do not have to disclose that they posess medical cannabis and do not have consent to a search. However, if a search is conducted and cannabis is found, you should present your ID number and direct law enforcement to the MMCC database
Yes, a provider can revoke a certification if deemed no longer benefical such as concerns of abusing the cannabis or diverting it to others
No, it is currently not legal in Maryland to cultivate your own cannabis
Yes, a minor under age 18 can be certified by a doctor, with the parent registered as a caregiver
You may visit any dispensary in the state. The MMCC website lists locations and is updated monthly
